Adding support for validate_confirmation_of_password_field

Reported by Marco Colli | April 13th, 2009 @ 07:52 AM

I am trying to disable password confirmation during registration. In documentation I found no way to do this.

It would be great to use something like validate_confirmation_of_password_field = (Boolean)

to enable/disable password confirmation.

    I agree, I just added some more options. You should be able to do:

    validate_confirmation_of_password_field = false
    validate_length_of_password_confirmation_field = false

    I changed this, it is one option now:

    require_password_confirmation = false

    The options specified above no longer exist.

    I totally agree with the last change. Thank you!

    OT: have you updated the repository yet or are you waiting for the release of a new version? I tried "sudo gem update authlogic" but it says "Nothing to update". Is there any way to get the modified version right now?

    Yes, install authlogic as a plugin from the github repository.
