NoMethodError in User sessionsController#new

Reported by Chris A. | March 19th, 2009 @ 05:10 AM

While following your basic tutorial for Authlogic (which I'm very excited to use) I have run into this problem:

NoMethodError in User sessionsController#new

undefined method acts_as_authentic_config' for #<Class:0x7f2d6bd8>

One guy mentioned this same problem in the comments on the tutorial page, but he got no replies.

Any ideas? Am I doing something totally wrong? I'm pretty new to Ruby and Rails so I'm still getting used to a lot of things, but this seems so straight forward.

Here is my environment: (I'm using thin, but i get the same error with Mongrel, in case it makes a difference) $ rails -v Rails 2.2.2

$ ruby -v ruby 1.8.7 (2008-08-11 patchlevel 72) [i386-cygwin]

$ uname -a CYGWIN_NT-6.0 MicroMachine 1.5.25(0.156/4/2) 2008-06-12 19:34 i686 Cygwin

$ thin -v thin 1.0.0 codename That's What She Said

Here is the application trace
