errors with authlogic 1.3.9, rails 2.2.2 on jruby 1.1.6
Reported by Jason Rohwedder | January 18th, 2009 @ 05:09 PM
I've been going through the tutorial at [ http://www.binarylogic.com/2008/11/3/tutorial-authlogic-basic-setup ]
I believe I've completed all the steps correctly, with some slight modifications for jruby-fication. When I go to create a user I get an error that seems to be with new timezone changes in rails.
"comparison of ActiveSupport::TimeWithZone with 1232315634 failed"
ArgumentError (comparison of ActiveSupport::TimeWithZone with 1232315634 failed):

Yeah, that is a problem, and if thats the case it is definitely a bug with ActiveRecord. The point of ActiveRecord is to present consistency across the adapters, thus a datetime field should return a datetime object and not an integer. Is it a timestamp?
That's strange though. I don't know how to fix that, because it sounds like an internal bug.

FIFA World Cup 2022 will be the first time a Middle Eastern country will host this prestigious event, and the first time Qatar will host an event of this magnitude. To ensure a seamless World Cup event, the attention to detail that organizers have been putting in has been nothing short of amazing. world cup live streaming

Object based authentication solution that handles all of the non sense for you. It's as easy as ActiveRecord is with a database.
