Help with nil condition

Reported by faramarza (at gmail) | February 6th, 2009 @ 05:42 PM

First, thank you for the excellent plugin. I have several search forms in my application, and it works great. However, I am having a problem with the following:

@search = User.new_search

   @admin = Admin.find_by_login_id(@current_user.login_id)
    @search.conditions.login_id =@admin.id
    @search.conditions.available_is_nil

available, is a boolean field in my model and when I do this search, records where this field is set to 'f' are returned not the null value records. Could you please let me know if I am doing something wrong? I also tried is_blank with the same result

Thanks

Frank
